이 드림박스를 만든 미국 시애틀의 페이퍼 아티스트 브리타니 콕스(Brittany Cox)는 대학에서 의상 디자인을 전공하고 디자이너로 활동하던 중 매일 반복되는 일상에 지쳐 우연히 들른 미술관에서 본 아름다운 페이퍼 아트에 매력에 빠져 본업인 디자이너 대신 페이퍼 아티스트의 길을 시작했는데, 브리타니 콕스(Brittany Cox)는 예술로 삶의 의미를 발견한 자신처럼 자신이 만든 드림박스가 많은 이들에게 행복한 영감이 되길 바란다고 밝혔다.
