[디아티스트매거진=은서형] 브랜든 키드웰 (Brandon Kidwell) 은 미국의 저명한 사진작가이자 디지털 작가(컴퓨터 환경에서 형상을 만들고 다루는 작가, CG Artist라고도 함)로 ‘Mobile Photography Awards’, ‘iPhone Photography Awards’등에서 다수 수상 하며 자신의 이름을 알린 실력 있는 작가이다. 낮에는 금융 전문가로 일하고 밤에는 사진작업을 하는 그는 ‘Wisdom for my children'(나의 아이들을 위한 지혜) 이란 제목 하에 사진을 통하여 자신의 소중한 세 아이들에게 인생을 살아가면서 알아야 할 교훈을 전하기로 한다. 그의 사진에 있어 가장 큰 특징인 몽환적인 ‘이중 노출’과 함께하는 그의 메시지. 그가 아이들에게 무엇을 전하고자 하는지 함께 보도록 하자.
